Astro Team Missions 2 & 3

Dear Astro Team Members,
Your next mission is to watch two more videos of the astronauts while they were at the space station. The first video to watch is called Exercising in Space and the second video is called The Making of a Space Walk. After you have watched the videos you will need to leave a comment on this blog about what you learned from the videos.

Remember, your work will be read by many people, so be sure to reread your entry before you submit it to the blog to be published.

    Wow! It must take a long time to get your suit on before you go on a space walk. A space walk must be really cool! You can see stars close up wow! Also in the exersizing video it must be hard to lift weights when you have no gravity!

    That was such a cool video! I liked how the guy just let the apple float and then just ate it.

    I felt that I wouldn't like it if all of my food would just float away! That was a very good example of the guy letting the apple float away from him.

    Wow! Those were amazing machines. I thought astronauts just floated around on the rocket station. But I learned that they need healthy food and excercise just like us. I bet all those wires were to keep it from floating too. This was a great video

    I learned that astronauts need exercise in space just like they do on earth. I also learned that they use different equipment for exercising than on earth.

    Oh! Joe the astronaut must have been so lucky to go on the space walk with his friend. it must have been like entering a whole new wonderland. I really want to be an astronaut when I grow up.

    That was So cool In Making of Space how much does the space suite weigh. In the Exerciseing in Space how does there feet stay on the equipment.

    I think that when you exercise in space it is a lot different than here on earth. The equipment is a lot different. But the apple is a little um… well… weird.

    In The Making a space walk it must be so fun to go out into space. It also must take a long time to put on a space suit.

    I liked watching the two videos. It was neat to see the guy let the apple float and then grab it. I liked how they exercised in space too!
